Description
As it has been constant in our wines and an unequivocal sign of the quality of our reds, Almaraes has a pronounced layer of a beautiful maroon color with violet hues. Clean and bright that provides liveliness in appearance and elegance in reflection.
On the nose it shows a medium intensity, although it is rich in nuances with a body of black fruits such as currant or blueberries, completed with toasted notes of toast and toffee typical of wood burning. With a background of sweet vanilla and cinnamon spices along with balsamic fennel, all perfectly assembled and in harmony.
In the mouth we find a smooth entry from the first sip. With a fleshy and ripe tannin that is perfectly rounded and a lively and fresh acidity, producing a round wine, with a long and pleasant aftertaste, reminiscent of those black fruits somewhat compote with a spicy finish. All this makes Almaraes a wine for any time, either to be enjoyed in a glass or as a complement to an excellent banquet.
